TV Placement ?
Now that we’ve decided on a bracket, next we need to determine how high we want the TV to be up on the wall. There really is no true standard, everyone has there own ideas on placement and height! So my guidance to you is to decide how high above your furniture or fireplace mantel, would you like the bottom edge of the TV to be. Now that you’ve got your height, lets find the wooden studs inside of the wall, for this you’ll need a stud finder! Once you’ve found your studs use a pencil to mark the locations of the studs.
Next thing is to determine wether or not you are going to conceal the wires inside of the wall? Will you be installing an outlet on the wall behind the TV’s placement? The key to all of this is to make the TV look just like a picture on the wall, with no visible wires. Who wants to see all those ugly wires?
Secure and Level the TV Bracket!
OK, now we’re ready to mount that TV on the wall! We’ve done all of the preliminary decision making. In addition to that, we’ve done all of the initial work like finding the studs. It’s a good idea to pre-drill the holes for the wall bracket. Secure the bracket to the wall, and use your leveler to verify that it won’t be crooked up on the wall!
Depending on the size of the TV, you might want to consider a helper, when lifting the TV up onto the wall bracket. As you’re lifting the TV up to the bracket, don’t forget to make all of the necessary connections behind the TV. Connections like plugging the TV cord into the outlet, and connecting any HDMI cables, and optical cables.

How does it look?
Now that you’ve got the TV mounted on the wall, how does it look? If you’ve done all of the preliminary work correctly, then your TV should be centered on the wall. As a result, It should be the intended height you wanted, and it should be level up on the wall.
The last thing is to use wire mold to hide your wires, if you did not conceal your wires inside of the wall.
Great job, you did it! It looks just like a picture on the wall!
